Ron Sterk, owner of the Rotterdam company Nieuw Rotterdams Café (NRC), received the Ketelbinkie Prize 2011 from Ahmed Aboutaleb, mayor of Rotterdam, during the 46th OndernemersBontbijt Rotterdam. The event was held at a unique location this time: Villa de Heerlijkheid in Hoogvliet.

Nieuw Rotterdams Café on the Witte de Withstraat was a great success from the start of its opening. The café is located in the old building of the editorial staff of the daily newspaper NRC Handelsblad.
