I was born in Hengelo, and I have followed sculpture classes with Dutch sculptor Anette van Stekelenburg in The Hague for six years. I have also followed several masterclasses with sculptors abroad to further improve my sculpting skills. I now live and work in Rotterdam.

I am specialized in portraiture, using several different materials such as bronze, plaster, water-based clay and aluminium cement.

I get inspired by various sculptors from the past and the present, such as the French Jean-Baptiste Carpeaux, Auguste Rodin, the British David Begbie or the Dutch Charlotte van Pallandt and Kees Verkade.
