BlueCity010 has won the Ketelbinkie Award 2016. The winner received the Ketelbinkie Prize during the Ondernemersontbijt Rotterdam on 18 May 2017 from Ahmed Aboutaleb, Mayor of Rotterdam. The other nominees were Sharp Sharp and Travis.

BlueCity010 is located in the former Tropicana swimming pool building and offers space to companies that want to demonstrate that waste no longer exists. Sharp Sharp makes vegetable cakes and tarts and Travis has developed the first pocket-sized translation machine.
